Nepali Tradition


Nepal is reach in culture and tradition. Nepal is a country where there is unity in diversity. Physical diversity having different climatic conditions has resulted in the social and cultural diversity. Our country has different communities, castes, ethnic groups with their own customs and traditions.
Unity in diversity is the special feature of our country. People of different ethnic groups have their own culture, tradition, language, festivals, songs and dances, dresses, rites and rituals. People living in the same geographical region have different life style.
Although we are different in traditions and cultures, we are similar in many ways. We have unity in social norms and values and traditions. We all respect elders and love juniors. We respect our parents and teachers as god and goddess. We welcome our guests, respect all the religions equally and ready to help each other. In this way, we love our neighbors and nations. People living in different geographical region have different tradition and culture. Here is a short description of the people of different regions.
